Nowadays, while I work as a strategy consultant for a new international venture, I search for people who together with us will implement the business models we have developed. The people I talk to are executives who worked at the top management levels in large corporate companies and have recently left their positions.
Most of these meetings are very interesting. Exciting success stories are followed by methodologies that could be developed only thanks to experiences gathered; sometimes shared books are complemented by solutions created in private lives.
After each of these meetings an idea sticks with me: these people are worth a treasure for new entrepreneurs and even for seasoned SME owners.
If you are a young entrepreneur, I suggest you find yourself such a mentor who knows how to think big. I’m sure you’ll save a lot of time, which is our most important resource.
